What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you fill out a Beginners Course or Membership form or e-mail the club from the website.

Information we may collect; Your Name, e-mail address, Mailing Address, Phone Number, Age, you may also be required to disclose some limited medical history.


What do we use your information for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

To personalize your experience, to better respond to your individual needs pertaining to any medical condition such as asthma that may restrict paddling activities.

To process transactions such as course and membership fees.

To send periodic emails about Club Events. The email address you provide may be used to send you information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.


How do we protect your information?

After a transaction, your private information will be held on record for the duration of your membership plus one year. If you have signed a Parental/Guardian Consent form, this information will be kept on file for the duration of the Club Members membership in order to maintain Parental/Guardian Consent details and contact information in the event of an emergency.


Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested or when requested by a recognised civil authority such as Police or Court or in the event of an emergency requiring us to disclose information about you or Junior/Minor members of the club where you are the Parental/Guardian.


Specifically, your information may be passed electronically and physically to Club Coaches in order to provide courses you have requested or to emergency services in the event of an incident.


Do we use cookies?

Yes, Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. No personal information is collected. We use cookies to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences in the future.


We do not store information or gain access to information stored on your computer (or other web-enabled device) by using cookies.
