Here’s a little bit about us...
Our club is run out of the Albert Pier at Penzance Harbour, Cornwall. Meetings run from April to October on Friday Nights at 6:00 pm. And during the winter, every other Saturday (weather permitting) from October to April.
Other paddling activities are run by members on a more informal basis outside these dates and times.
A winter paddling program is usually available and includes ‘Pool Sessions’ where you can learn or practice skills in the safety of the local swimming pool.
The Club House is a large modern building with disabled access, showers, changing rooms and a large function room upstairs.
Boat store and equipment shed and equipment shed store all our equipment and boats. Penzance Canoe Club have a wide range of craft including general Purpose Boats, Surf Boats, Canoes, Sea Kayaks, Race Boats, Polo Boats and Sit on Tops and Stand up Paddle Boards. If you have your own craft, you can use that too. We also have limited space for club members to store their own craft for a fee.
The club offer a wide variety of craft to paddle and club members can hire all the equipment they require to paddle safely on the water. Hire cost is from £3.00 for club sponsored sessions for club members and £5.00 for club visitors.
Membership includes access to the club facilities which include changing rooms and showers. Use of club equipment for a small hire fee. Friday night social paddle. Monthly sea excursion for 2 star sea kayak paddles.
Invites to all other club events such as Club BBQ, Winter Pool Sessions, Surf Sessions, River Paddles, Ice Cream Paddles, Camping and other events.
Limited Club Insurance cover.
Up to 15% discount on Paddlesport equipment at some selected stores in Cornwall.
