Info
Run by a dedicated team of volunteers, the club provides a warm, friendly welcome, expert tuition and coaching, equipment (for hire at very reasonable prices) and modern, welcoming facilities located on Penzance Harbour.
We are lucky to be in Penzance on beautiful Mount’s Bay, benefitting from the protection of Penzance Harbour, with Marazion and St Michael’s Mount, Newlyn and Mousehole all within easy paddling distance of our base on Albert Pier.
We welcome everyone from beginners to experienced paddlers and offer a range of paddling and associated social activities. Our programme aims to make the most of West Cornwall’s amazing coastline and waterways and includes harbour and local sessions, with sea, estuary and river trips in various locations throughout the area.
Activities
We run regular, weekly paddles in-season, paddle adventures and excursions throughout the year, as well as courses, social and other special events.
Regular Club sessions are on Friday evenings from the start of April to the end of September. The club house opens at 6.15pm to be on the water for 6.45pm, with tea and cake in the clubhouse after the paddle. Our winter programme includes pool sessions every two weeks from January to the end of March.
